Magdolen Sleman is a Licensed Professional Counselor and is in her 24th
year in the school system as a school counselor. She has passionately
worked with children and young adults ranging from 3-30 to equip them with
tools to foster better decision-making and character-building anchored in
Biblical truths. Through solution-focused sessions, using both Cognitive and
Dialectical behavioral therapy techniques, effective strategies are practiced to
help achieve the desired goals. Her years in the public school system and as
an active youth servant in St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Church in Jersey City,
has allowed her to keep a pulse on the current struggles faced by our youth
and their families. As a Christian psychotherapist, she guides with
compassion while empowering the individual to be a better version of
themselves. Usually referred to as Maggie; she currently runs her warm and
welcoming practice, Jacob’s Well, in both East Brunswick and Jersey City, NJ.
